Pekoe Lanka Tours was founded by Akila Rohan, a passionate local travel expert whose journey began with one simple goal—to share the beauty and hospitality of Sri Lanka with visitors from around the world.

Several years ago, Akila welcomed travelers through personalized tuk tuk tours in Kandy under the name KandyCity Tuk Tuk. What began as a local guiding service quickly earned the trust of guests from dozens of countries thanks to genuine hospitality, honest advice, flexibility, and a commitment to treating every traveler like a friend rather than just another customer.
