Privacy notice

When you send the Contact Us or Book/Inquire form, we store the details you enter (for example your name, e-mail address, phone number, travel dates and message) so that we can answer your enquiry and plan your tour. We also store the page you sent it from, the date and time, your device type and – if you accepted analytics – the campaign that brought you to the website.

Form contents are only visible to our administrators. They are not used for advertising.

We run our own analytics on this website to understand which pages and tours visitors find useful. We record page visits, clicks on buttons and contact links (WhatsApp, phone, e-mail), form starts and submissions, scroll depth and the time a page is visible.

If you accept analytics, a random identifier is stored in your browser so that repeat visits can be counted. It does not contain your name or contact details.

If you reject analytics (or have not decided yet), no identifier is stored; only an anonymous count of the page view is kept, which cannot be linked to other visits. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are only loaded after you accept.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy settings” button at the bottom of every page.

Your IP address is used at the moment of your visit to estimate your country and city, to filter automated traffic and to protect our forms against abuse. We do not keep the full IP address with your visits: we store a shortened form and a keyed, one-way code, both deleted after 7 days. Location estimates are approximate and never identify a street or address.

• Detailed analytics records: 395 days, then only daily totals are kept (for up to 1825 days).
• Shortened IP addresses and IP codes: 7 days.
• Enquiries and form submissions: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and booking, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

With your consent, this website loads Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager (Google LLC). The contact form may use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tripadvisor take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@pekoelankatours.com.
